Bolt-design bonnet castings for pressure-critical operations
At Super Quali Cast, we produce investment castings for bonnet applications that support type A and B fire safety valves for use in pressure-critical and hazardous environments. As reliable bonnet castings manufacturers, we supply fire-safe valve components, including bonnet investment castings, to domestic and international valve manufacturers and OEMs.
We make our bonnets using the lost wax precision investment casting process. It ensures tight tolerance, excellent geometry, and superior surface finish while lowering machining and milling costs.
Our Manufacturing Process of Bonnet Investment Castings
Molding and Investing
Creating molds in-house, attaching them to a runner, and introducing the wax pattern tree into a ceramic slurry—up to eight times.
Dewaxing
Placing the ceramic shell into an autoclave to melt the wax and return a hollow cast ready for pouring.
MTC and Pouring
Testing the metal for purity, issuing an MTC, and gravity pouring the liquid metal into the ceramic shell.
Heat Treatment
Introducing knocked-out components into a pre-heated furnace to improve material strength and hardness.
CNC Machining
Face milling and ancillary machining for establishing tight tolerances and smooth sealing surfaces.
Final Inspection
Inspecting components visually and with universal testing machines to comply with industry standards, particularly ASME B16.34.
